It is just like my brain divided into two portion of schedule in 24/7 since Farhan was discharged from the hospital. However, It bring me back my memory of my childhood. I spent my times at the hospital and I was bored too. Same goes with farhan. He is definitely can't wait go back to school. Well, I then got an idea to treat his empty school life. I will spend my times with him for homeschooling system after get myslf busy with thesis writing. Usually, I will take 4 hours straight after fajr and tick with Farhan after abah goes to work at 9.00 a.m. My brain is workout too with those maths and science. We usually consumed all the toys and used them as teaching aids. Alhamdulillah, it helps him demolish his empty time. I know I'm not a good candidate as a teacher but my experinece working with voluteership group assits me a lot. Thanks to my sister too for her advice of montessori based homeschool. Her guides is simple.
1. start my day with Quran recitation
2. Follows by Al-mathurat
3. Then start my own study
4. Get myself busy with Farhan
5. Treat him most with Islamic manner at ummi school.
6. have fun with the boys, outdoor etc.well my swim wear will be arrived this week...so ammar is so delighted with my decision to join him at the swimming pool. sorry dear..ummi is only capable with freestyle not like mummy and mak uda who are already coped with their butterfly and aquafit.
7. Do my very own homecook which is simple but can makes my kids amazed of me.
8. Sing the baby kkalifah song to motivate them.
9. Before their bedtime, ask them to remember any simple verse of Quran instead of story time.
10. enjoy my snack before pull my brain back to my study before 11 p.m.
I'd practiced some of those at the hospital when I was young with my mum and thrown them away when I grown up. It's my mistake and I won't let this happen to the kids. So homeschool is doesn't meant you have to be a degree holder to practice them but more on your motherhood life and soul. Think about every moment we consume or fill up with the kids is the journey towards Jannah. Insya'Allah , Allah knows better than us
